2019 Ranger

Ford Motor Company was founded by Henry Ford in 1903. The young and energetic 115-year old automotive company manufactures automobiles, luxury vehicles, commercial vehicles, automotive parts, pick-up trucks, and SUVs. Ford is recognized worldwide for its range of automotive.

Ford Ranger

The model name ‘Ranger’ originated in 1958 as Edsel Ranger, a base sedan of Edsel model range. Ranger served as a mid to top-level trim model of the Ford F-Series from 1965 to 1981. In 1983, Ford replaced the Courier nameplate with Ranger in the US market. In the global market, Ford began to use the nameplate Ranger in 1998, and by 2006, all compact trucks were under the name ‘Ranger.’

Ford Ranger 2019

The 2019 Ford Ranger was introduced to the US market at the 2018 North American International Auto Show. The fourth generation Ranger will mark several key stages for the Ranger model, including:

-       Ranger will be returning to the US and Canada market after being discontinued in 2011

-       The launch of Ranger Raptor internationally and potentially in the US and Canada

-       Various updates to Ranger in the International market

When Ford discontinued the Ranger model in 2011, the Ranger fans were forced to buy Ford F150 or switch to a competitor. With Ranger re-entering the market in 2019, the sale of 2019 F150 is expected to fluctuate as the most impressive feature for the 2019 Ford Ranger is the all-new Ford Ranger itself.
